Who we are
Sela Concierge ("Sela", "we", "us") is a local-services concierge operated by Draftboard Inc., a Delaware corporation. We can be reached at hi@asksela.io.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to help you find a service provider:
- Your message content on WhatsApp — the requests you send and replies you receive.
- Your phone number as it appears on WhatsApp, so we can reply.
- Service details you give us — addresses, dates, scope of work — to share with vetted providers.
- Basic operational logs — timestamps and conversation IDs we use to keep threads organized.
We do not collect location data, device identifiers, contacts, or any third-party data outside the conversation you have with us.
How we use it
- To match your request to relevant local providers.
- To follow up with providers and collect quotes on your behalf.
- To improve Sela's quality of service over time.
- To contact you about your active request.
We do not use your data to train external machine-learning models, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Who we share it with
We share the relevant parts of your brief — scope, location at neighborhood level, and timing — with the local providers we contact for quotes. We do not share your phone number with providers unless you explicitly ask us to connect you.
We use a small number of operational vendors (e.g. WhatsApp Business, SMS/RCS carriers via Twilio, hosting, and analytics providers) under standard data-processing terms.
Messaging (SMS, RCS, WhatsApp)
Sela operates over WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS depending on the region and the device you're messaging from. By texting our number or opting in through asksela.io, you consent to receive messages from Sela about your active requests. We send only what's needed to help with your request — quotes, follow-ups, and confirmations. Message frequency varies with the back-and-forth of your conversation.
Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No third party will receive your mobile number for marketing. This rule applies to all SMS and RCS data — including opt-in records — and to data shared with our operational vendors solely to deliver the service.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages. To get a short summary of what Sela is, reply HELP. To opt back in, reply START. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
How long we keep it
We keep conversation history for as long as it's useful to serve you, plus a reasonable period for quality and dispute resolution. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA, the UK, California, and Israel), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us at hi@asksela.io.
